In my work, sound is not used to make a point or deliver a message. It is not here to convince, persuade, or reveal truth. Sound is offered as presence. Sometimes it arrives quietly. Sometimes it stays close to the body. Sometimes it barely registers at all. None of this is a failure of sound.
