Why Trust Another Woman Again?
Whispers of doubt linger in the air,
Hopes once bright, now seem so rare.
Yearning for trust, but fear takes its hold,
Tales of betrayal echo, stories retold.
Repeatedly falling, the heart learns to ache,
Understanding kindness feels like a mistake.
Secrets are shared, but lies often lurk,
Trust feels like a game, a dangerous work.
Another heart willing, but scars run too deep,
No promise of solace, no promise to keep.
Open your heart, they say with a grin,
Women together, but the wounds still spin.
Ever so cautious, we build up our walls,
Resilience grows strong, yet hesitation calls.
Again and again, the cycle repeats,
Guarantees broken, the heart skips its beats.
You say I can talk, that you’ll hear my pleas,
Sounds like a setup, just more shattered dreams.
Like autumn leaves falling, so fragile, so fine,
Another chance given, but will it be mine?
Broken and weary, how much can we take?
Hearts made of glass, so easily break.
