Listening Through Dissociation
There are times when listening happens from a distance.
You may hear the sound, but feel removed from it.
You may notice yourself drifting in and out, unable—or unwilling—to fully arrive.
This piece is created for that space.
The tones are steady and unobtrusive, offered without expectation. Nothing in the sound asks you to come closer, to focus, or to return before you are ready.
You may be present.
You may feel far away.
You may move between the two.
All of this belongs.
Listening Through Dissociation does not try to change your state.
It stays with you—whether you are near or far.
There is no right way to listen.
There is no need to follow.
You are allowed to be exactly where you are…
and let the sound meet you there.
